Detailed Itinerary:

 Day of Arrival:

You are met and assisted at the airport and transferred to Bush House & Camp for overnight stay before safari on bed and breakfast basis. Depending on your arrival time, other meals can be arranged.

Day 01: Samburu

Depart Bush House & Camp at 8.00am and drive to Kenya’s Northern frontier crossing the equator that divides our country in almost two equal halves. You arrive at Samburu National Park in time for lunch at your Lodge. Later undertake a late afternoon game drive in this park. Dinner and overnight at Sentrim Samburu

 Day 02:  Game drives, Samburu
You will enjoy two game drives, one in the morning and another in the afternoon. You will have numerous plains game viewing especially the Samburu ‘Special 5’ – The reticulated giraffe, the long-necked Gerenuk, Maasai Ostrich, Beisa Oryx and the Grevy’s Zebra. Many antelopes, lions, elephants, hippos at River Ewaso among others. You may have an optional visit to a local Samburu Cultural village. Dinner and overnight at Sentrim Samburu

 Day 03: Samburu /Lake Nakuru

Depart Samburu after breakfast for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving Nakuru in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild's giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game.
Dinner and overnight at Merica Hotel or Lake Nakuru Lodge.
 

Day 04; Amboseli
Early breakfast and depart Amboseli at the foot of snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive is taken. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sentrim Lodge or Amboseli Sopa Lodge.

Day 05; Amboseli – Arusha - Lake Manyara
After breakfast, cross over into into Tanzania via the Namanga border. Change of vehicles is involved. After lunch in Arusha, depart for Lake Manyara. Game drive enroute. Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its tree-climbing lions. Here you can see a variety of habitats and diverse animals and birds. Witness the large flock of flamingoes descending on Lake Manyara. Enjoy optional evening boat ride to view wild animals by the shore. Dinner and overnight at Migunga Tented Camp

Day 06: Serengeti

Depart Lake Manyara after breakfast with packed lunches for Serengeti National park. This expansive park offers much for exploration. Sharing the same ecosystem and bordering kenya’s Masai Mara, the big 5 can be easily found here together with hundred species of birds and diverse flora. Spend the rest of the day in game drives. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge

Day 06: Serengeti

Spend entire day exploring the park stopping at a scenic place for a packed lunch. Although the migration herds will have long migrated to Masai Mara (around early or mid July), Serengeti is a park teeming with wildlife and hunting dramas. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge

Day 08: Ngorongoro

Morning game drives at Serengeti first. Later drive to Ngorongoro Crater with packed lunches. Descend into the crater floor for one the most unique game viewing experiences in Tanzania. Indeed, Ngorongoro crater is the world’s biggest whole volcanic caldera at 8300 sq km and is arguably a most stunning arena. It is frequently described as one of the wonders of the world, not only because of its geological magnificence, but also because it serves as an extraordinary natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s largest populations of large mammals. Retire for dinner and overnight at Gibbs Farm or Plantation Lodge or Tloma Lodge

Day 08: Arusha

Today we head back to Arusha after early breakfast. Arrive in time for early lunch and catch afternoon shuttle (14.00hrs) to Nairobi arriving at 18.30hrs. You are gladly received back at Bush House & Camp for dinner and overnight. End of Tour
