Tsavo (East & West) is the largest park in Kenya, and at 20,807 km2, it is one of the largest in the world. Tsavo West is an international wildlife and environmental treasure chest. More than 50 different kinds of mammals graze, browse, hunt and scavenge in the grasslands and bush country of the Tsavo West. Zebras are always seen slaking their thirst near Tsavo West's luxurious game lodges. Among the more unusual of the animals are the gerenuk, a long necked antelope that browses on the higher, sweeter leaves of the acacia thorns. Carnivores are also abundant in the park. Our trip today begins from Nakuru after early breakfast and will include visit to the famous Mzima Springs and Shetani (devil’s) lava flows. Entry by Voi Gate

A & B: Mid Range:- Dinner and overnight at Severin Safari Camp (recommended)

Day 06: Tsavo East

Today, we enter Tsavo East National Park and concentrate our game drives along the riverine areas. Largest ‘red’ elephants are a great attraction here. There are lions here too. Tsavo East was made famous by the ‘Man-Eaters of Tsavo’ during the building of the Kenya-Uganda railway. To get the most, we have picnic lunches and our game drives should take us to the Lugard’s Falls, Crocodile Point, Kanderi Swamp & Aruba Dam (where most lions can be spotted).

Day 09: Serengeti

Sharing the same ecosystem and bordering kenya’s Masai Mara, the big 5 can be easily found here together with hundred species of birds and diverse flora. Spend the rest of the day in game drives.

Day 10: Serengeti

Spend entire day with packed lunches exploring the vast Serengeti.

A & B: Dinner and overnight at Ikoma Safari Camp

Day 11: Ngorongoro

Morning game drives at Serengeti first. Later drive to Ngorongoro Crater with packed lunches. Descend into the crater floor for one the most unique game viewing experiences in Tanzania. Indeed, Ngorongoro crater is the world’s biggest whole volcanic caldera at 8300 sq km and is arguably a most stunning arena. It is frequently described as one of the wonders of the world, not only because of its geological magnificence, but also because it serves as an extraordinary natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s largest populations of large mammals.

A & B: Retire for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Farm House (recommended)

Day 12: Ngorongoro

For a more fulfilling wildlife experience, we have proposed to include entire day game drives on the crater floor. Ngorongoro is never affected by migration tendencies of animals and the resident game are replenished by the water availability, lush greens, and it is a fact that the lions of Ngorongoro are some of the largest in the world, owing to, of course, abundant food.

A & B: Retire for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Farm House (recommended)

Day 13: Tarangire

Today after early breakfast we head to Tarangire National Park. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives by the Tarangire River.

Elephants can be seen in herds of up to 600 at a time, along with masses of wildebeest, zebra, eland, hartebeest, buffalo and oryx, who, migrate from the dry Maasai steppe to the gleaming Tarangire River in search of water during the dry season. Your time of visit corresponds to the best game viewing in Tarangire.

For excellent year round game viewing the Seronera valley in the centre of the park has abundant grazing and considerable numbers of animals including giraffes, warthogs, reedbucks and many other species that sustain resident leopards and large prides of lions.

A & B: Dinner and overnight at Tarangire River Camp

Day 14: Arusha-Nairobi

Today we head back to Arusha after early breakfast. Arrive in time for early lunch and catch afternoon shuttle (14.00hrs) to Nairobi arriving at 19.00hrs. You are gladly received back at Bush House & Camp for dinner and overnight. Dinner and overnight at Bush House are included in the costs of the tour. End of safari
