6 Days (5 Nights) Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, Amboseli

This tour is fashioned to give the best of Kenya wildlife viewing through a visit to the leading parks while residing in modest vacation lodges.

Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara
After breakfast, leave Nairobi and drive south to reach game abundant Masai Mara in time for lunch. An afternoon game drive introduces you to the giant herds of plains game and the numerous predators that have made the reserve so famous. Transfer back to your lodge for dinner. Overnight at selected Lodge or Campsite. (BLD)

Day 2: Masai Mara
Spend the day game viewing in the Mara where all the Big Five as well as a Mara Tented Campvariety of antelopes and lesser kudu may be observed. Overnight at selected Lodge or Campsite. (BLD)

Day 3: Masai Mara - Lake Naivasha
Depart after an early breakfast from Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha, the only freshwater lake in the Rift Valley. The lake enjoys a colony of hippos and the rich birdlife makes it an ideal place for an afternoon boat ride. A visit to the Crescent Island which is completely wild and undeveloped and one the few places in Africa where you can wander on foot among herds of zebra, wildebeest, gazelle and giraffe. There are no predators and no fences.
Lunch will be served at selected lodge (click to see choices at Naivasha). Dinner and overnight at Lodge.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha- Amboseli
This morning after breakfast, drive to Amboseli National Park and the legendary Mt. Kilimanjaro. Home to the proud and brightly painted Masai tribe, the acacia woodlands and grasslands of the park shelter an abundance of game including buffalo, lion, cheetah, hyena, zebra and wildebeest. A game drive follows a lunch in the park. Overnight at selected Lodge or Campsite. (BLD)

Days 5: Amboseli
Full Day game viewing. Overnight at selected Lodge or Campsite. (BLD)

Day 6: Amboseli - Nairobi
After breakfast, drive or fly back to Nairobi. After lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant transfer to the airport for your homebound flight. In the event of a late night flight out, an optional day room can be reserved for you to relax and freshen up before you depart. (BL)
