5 Days Mountain Lodge, Naivasha, Masai Mara Safari

Starting at the legendary Mountain Lodge there are matchless game viewing opportunities whilst combining a glorious panorama of mountain vistas with the primordial splendours of an ancient rain-forest. Enjoy the great offers for birding and wildlife and the serene walk at Crescent Island, Naivasha and eventual drive to celebrated Masai Mara Game Reserve

Day 1: Nairobi - Mt. Lodge

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through Kikuyu countryside to Mountain Lodge, arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon and evening game viewing. Observe the fascinating interplay of the animals as they arrive to drink, bathe, spar and forage around the water hole. Venture down to the secret viewing hide by the water’s edge and experience the awesome thrill of being only meters away from some of the most massive beasts on earth. Dinner and overnight.

Another morning game drive after breakfast, before departing for Lake Naivasha Country Club, arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon boat ride on Lake Naivasha and a walking safari at Crescent Island, one of the few places in the world where one can wander on foot amongst wild animals. Dinner and overnight at lodge/camp site.

Day 3 & 4. Masai Mara

Depart after breakfast and drive along the floor of the Rift Valley to Masai Mara, arriving at Camp site in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

Full day at Masai Mara, Kenya's most popular game sanctuary. Morning and afternoon game drives with optional visit to a local Masai village. Meals and overnight at the lodge/camp site.

Day 5 . Nairobi

Depart Maasai Mara after breakfast, driving back to Nairobi to arrive at approx 1300hrs. Drop at your hotel or transfer to the airport for onward flight home.
